The Irish National Youth Ballet Company
presents The Little Mermaid, String Serenade and Kiss me Kate. The Little Mermaid is a much loved fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about a young mermaid willing to give up her life in the sea and her identity as a mermaid to gain a human soul and the love of a human prince.
String Serenade is performed by the Senior Co. to Tchaikovsky's wonderful score.
Kiss me Kate is a musical theatre piece. It is structured as a play within a play, where the interior play is a musical version of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.

The Nutcracker Suite & The Snow Queen

35 of Ireland's most talented young dancers will perform this Festive Season in Celebration of its 15th Anniversary. They will delight and dazzle everyone from the youngest to the most seasoned theatergoers. Snowflakes, flowers and the Chinese dance to Snow Queen, Ice Maidens and Doves. All are wrapped up in Tchaikovsky's & Stravinsky's glorious music scores, what could be more fitting?

The Irish National Youth Ballet Co. (INYB) provides an opportunity for young Irish Ballet dancers to train as a company. Katherine Lewis, Artistic Director develops and maintains the highest artistic standards using internationally trained teachers and choreographers. INYB is performance based and creates a semi- professional environment for the dancers.
INYB is grant aided by the Arts Council.
