It is with a profound sense of loss that Irish National Youth Ballet announces the death of our Artistic Director, Katherine Lewis.
Katherine was the driving force behind INYB for the last 13 years. Her passion and vision for the company has seen INYB prosper and thrive over that time. She was an inspiration to many and her legacy will be the number of young dancers who have gone on to further training and have achieved great things over the last 13 years.
Katherine was an exceptional teacher who loved working with young people and helping them to achieve their potential. She inspired passion among all her students and everyone who worked with the company.
INYB will continue in its aim for young Irish Ballet dancers to train as a company and to perform to the highest standard.
